Be Careful of the Bones
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and you’re bound to get your pets’ attention with the wonderful turkey aroma. Generally speaking, baked bones are not recommended to give as treats to pets, and so the consumption of turkey bones, even if it’s “accidental” when your back is turned, can be cause for concern. Be mindful of where your pets are, and where you put your garbage so the carcass is out of reach. If you suspect that your pet has gotten into some turkey bones, call your vet. Boarding? Vaccinate!
Is your pet up to date on Rabies?
Is your pet up to date on Rabies? The rabies vaccination is legally required for all dogs 5 months of age or older in Wisconsin, and is highly recommended for all cats. Not only does it offer protection to your pet, but also helps to legally (and financially) protect you should an unpredictable bite incident occur. If your pet is not up-to-date, we strongly recommend you schedule a wellness exam with proper vaccination today!
